Diary: Katie Price proves she still has the 'cringe factor'

Unless you've been living under a rock for the past few months, you'll have surely noticed that the fairytale couple Katie Price and Peter Andre have had a bit of a falling out.

Ever since the couple's split was announced in May, the pair, when not pleading with the media to give them some privacy and allow them to get on with their lives, have been talking to any publication that'll listen in order to put across their side of the story.

Last week, it was the turn of Bauer's Heat to give Price the column inches she so badly craves. And, to promote it, the publication's ad agency, Rapier, was asked to produce a ten-second spot.

The ad was a fairly standard affair. Price was simply required to sit on the floor and record a piece to camera explaining that, in the new issue, she'll be answering readers' questions - "and there's nothing off limits".

However in preparation for the ad, Price decided to improvise a little, with cringeworthy consequences. As the cameras rolled, Price "treated" the crew to a song, outlining that she'd gone nuts and had been admitted to the Priory.

"I've gone bald, I've lost my hair, I've lost my life, and it's all because of you," Price sang, as agency members laughed and clapped somewhat awkwardly.

"I can see that going on You Tube," Price added, and for once in her life, she was right.
