Diary: Kershaw passes driving test. He just needs a car

What a ball-breaker for David Kershaw, the M&C Saatchi chief executive hosting the agency's golf day at St George's Hill.

His fine drive on the fourth took a dramatic deflection off the back of a bunker for a hole-in-one. Cue for Pimm's all round.

Now, you'd have thought it couldn't have got much better for Kershaw. Alas, it could have.

HSBC Insurance executives and their clients were also on the course that day. If Kershaw had been in their group when he hit his corker, he would have won a car to the value of £25,000. Must be enough to make him want to quit driving - of all kinds - for good.
