DIARY: You know, sometimes little acts of kindness ...

You know, sometimes little acts of kindness can warm the cockles. Those boys at Duckworth Finn Grubb Waters are an all right lot - don’t let anyone tell you otherwise. The latest tenant of the illustrious Hockney room (named after its first jobless occupant, Michael Hockney) at the Soho agency is Carol Fisher, long-time bigwig at Holsten/Courage and one of Campaign’s favourite clients. The last inhabitants were the A&P Lintas creative duo, Billy Mawhinney and Nick Welch, and look what happened to them. Judging by Mr Welch’s demeanour at the recent Rainey Kelly party, they’re pretty happy about life at the moment.

If Fisher’s excellent Holsten Dennis Leary swansong is anything to go

by, we predict she’ll be a short-term tenant.
