Diary: Leave your card as way to tell bosses to 'stuff it'

Adlanders who have been given the push are busy telling the world how happy they are with their newfound freedom by doodling on their old business cards.

A US website, cardsofchange.com, invites people who have been ditched to post photos of their old business cards with new details and a positive message about what they're doing instead. And the site has received more cards from the ad world than from any other industry, including ex-Young & Rubicam, BBDO and DDB staff.

Richard Sharp, a former executive creative director at TBWA\ Manchester, is among them, defiantly proclaiming on his card: "I belong to me again!"

Is this a reflection of a positive attitude, or is your typical adlander just more bitter than most?
