DIARY: The Lynx Effect: works on thieves, not women

While one might expect cheeky Lynx posters to be capable of stopping traffic, it appears they can also stop burglars.

This was the conclusion reached by a Kensington publican, when a talking Lynx washroom panel in his toilet foiled a burglary attempt.

It seems the tamperings of the mischievous law-breakers with the window next to the audio poster triggered its movement sensor and activated the panel, causing it to regale its audience with anecdotes about bad haircuts and pulling tips. However, Diary doesn't think the intruders had much time to absorb any of this, as they were too busy scarpering.

Precisely the reaction of women when faced with such dodgy chat-up lines. Perhaps it's a sign.
