Diary: Can MindShare really have fallen so low in Sunday Times' eyes?

It may be a fast-moving business with clients choosing to move their accounts on the slightest whim, but can MindShare have really slipped so far down the agency billings tables so quickly?

According to The Sunday Times' 100 Best Companies to Work For supplement, MindShare - the UK's third-biggest media agency with billings passing the £550 million mark - has changed beyond all recognition.

No longer is it the WPP powerhouse that managed to leap up the billings tables after a 2003 that saw a 16 per cent improvement in its billings - the biggest increase of any of the top-ten media agencies. In fact, it wouldn't even make the top 50 because its billings are just £3.9 million, making it three times smaller than that well-known agency Mediability.
