It would appear that DMB&B is trying to gain some useful football
experience for its up-coming campaign for the Government’s
anti-hooliganism drive, if last Saturday was anything to go by.
The agency, which has also created football-themed campaigns for
Littlewoods Pools and Umbro, took part in a small but not insignificant
football match involving Littlewoods personnel and agency staff. The
match is an annual fixture that takes place at Wembley and this year, we
can proudly reveal, the side that most of DMB&B’s staff were playing on
When we enquired who the goal-scorers were, it turned out they were none
other than Barry Cook, the agency’s managing director, and Stuart Smith,
an account planner. It was even more exciting when we obtained a picture
of them in their shorts.
We’re just glad to hear there were no riots afterwards.
