Diary: OMD's Amor gets his big break in final of Strictly

The brave media agency stalwarts who have quickstepped their way to the Strictly Come Dancing final (the BBC Magazines' Ad Sales version, to be accurate) have some big shoes, and trousers, to fill at Cafe de Paris tonight (Thursday).

Whose, I hear you ask. Well, those of the legendary snooker player Willie Thorne, who left behind his dancing slacks (complete with extended waistband) as he waltzed off into the sunset after being voted off the show in series five.

And the BBC, not wanting to let a good pair of trousers go to waste, passed them on to the lucky agency finalists. But who in media land had the physique to do them justice?

Step up Chris Amor, the head of press at OMD UK, who has the dubious honour of wearing Willie's trousers in the final. Let's hope, for Chris' sake, they've been thoroughly dry-cleaned.
