James Hamilton is glad the wait for the Guinness "noitulove" spot, from Abbott Mead Vickers BBDO, is over: "After the ad featuring a criminal sentenced to six months' hard cowboying, I wondered if Guinness had lost the plot. This ad is a return to form and goes some way to disproving the notion that the personal video recorder will kill the TV ad: you need a Sky+ box to re-run it and catch all the details." The ad was written by Ian Heartfield, art directed by Matt Doman and directed by Danny Kleinman at Kleinman Productions.
