Lucy Aitken is impressed by DDB London's 30th anniversary ad for Volkswagen's Golf: "The Golf's evolution is shown against a backdrop of everyday evolution, so trousers, canteen food and hairstyles fast-forward to the present day. Slick production and Chris Palmer's direction avoid any similarity to a 70s or 80s TV nostalgia show." The ad was art directed by Grant Parker and written by Patrick McClelland. Seen better?
