Diary: Pick of the week - Ogilvy & Mather/Kodak

Robin Hicks has a soft spot for Ogilvy & Mather's new commercial for Kodak:

"A magical world called 'Kodak' where pictures live forever? Cheesy nonsense, surely. But actually, the spot's Disney-like dreaminess works well in presenting a powerful idea: with digital you can store, protect and share every picture you have ever owned. It helps it jump out of the ad break, too, and for viewers to feel a bit of warmth towards the cold, hard world of digital imaging." The ad was written by Richard Ryan, art directed by Rich Wallace and directed by Joe Pytka through PYTKA.
