Diary: Pick of the Week - Publicis/McCoy's

Emma Barns thinks Publicis' new ad for McCoy's is razor-sharp:

"It's light years away from the old McCoy's ads, which suggested you'd travel hundreds of miles for the crisps; this Gillette spoof is perfect for its blokey target audience. A guy sitting on a sofa eats his way through a bag of 'triple-action' McCoy's. In true Gillette style, a woman swoops in at the end for a peck on the cheek." The ad was written by Andrew Petch, art directed by Cameron Blackley and directed by Scott Vincent through Hungry Man.
