Diary: Pick of the week - Rapier/Virgin Media

Ian Darby is thankful for Uma Thurman's presence in Rapier's launch campaign for Virgin Media:

"The campaign brings a touch of elegance to the bunfight that is the digital TV and broadband market. The 'pause' execution really stands out. A resplendent-looking Uma lists the benefits of the Virgin TV offer and the ad pauses on a close-up for ten seconds when she says it can be used to pause live TV. It stops you in your tracks and makes you pay attention." It was written by John Townshend, art directed by Simon Stephenson and directed by Kevin Thomas from Thomas Thomas.
