A company's image - and brand - is vitally important to its success, so it's often worth paying a branding agency a bucketload of cash to work some of their magic. But sometimes it isn't. Unfortunately for the experiential marketing company LoewyBe, this is one of the times when it wasn't. It has rebranded as BEcause. Now to the press release to explain why. "The capitalisation of "BE" retains a link to the company's heritage as LoewyBe and also stands for "Brand Experience". The "cause" part of the name shows the direct causal effect brand experience has on consumer perceptions and behaviour." Hmm ...

The radio station Trent FM is targeting the lusty Nottingham Forest FC fans by launching a "strip when you are winning" campaign. A billboard features a page-three model, who will remove an article of clothing after each win. The billboard has now added a bloke after it was vandalised for being sexist - who would have thought?
