Jonathan Fraser, a strategist at Goodstuff, is creating a good level of notoriety in his attempts to break into stand-up comedy. Fraser is getting bags of publicity for his performances on the website of Radio 1 DJ Scott Mills (www.bbc.co.uk/radio1/scottmills), who just happens to be his flatmate. According to Mills' site, Fraser lasted five minutes onstage at The Comedy Store last week, attracting a stunning review that refers to him "scraping the barrel with dodgy material" ...

Poor old JWT. It seems that the furore surrounding its Trident chewing gum ad just will not go away. As Diary went to press, the total number of complaints reaching the Advertising Standards Authority had surpassed 300, that is more than 200 additional complaints since Campaign published the story last Wednesday.
