There is an interesting entry snuggling cosily alongside the more usual
Lonely Hearts ads in this week’s Time Out (hey, not that I read those
pages or anything).
Besides the ‘Shamanic global healer in search of young perfect regal
goddess’ and ‘Perseus, son of Zeus, enjoys slaying Titans and seeks fair
maiden for nights at coliseum’, there is another eye-catching small
advertiser.
‘Lonely art director, 23, seeks copywriter with sharp tongue to form
creative team,’ it reads.
Richard Yee, a recent fine art graduate from the Edinburgh College of
Art, has just broken up with his partner and is trawling for a
replacement to blitz London agencies with.
Richard is from Prestwick, near Glasgow. He is 6ft, has brown hair and
brown eyes, a lilting Scottish accent and likes...oh sorry, that’s not
the point, is it. He’s looking for a writer with commitment,
determination, radical ideas, blah blah.
