Diary: Tiger's a pussy-cat for Westwood's garments

Tiger Savage, the M&C Saatchi head of art, is most often found bringing a bit of glam to this magazine's back page and an interview in this month's Marie Claire magazine confirms her position as adland's finest clothes horse.

The subject of the piece is the designer Vivienne Westwood, whose work is showcased at the Victoria & Albert Museum this month. Three fans, who have reportedly "dedicated their lives to all things Viv", give interviews about why they love the clothes and how they were introduced to them.

Shot in a suitably regal pose and surrounded by her extravagances, Savage spills the beans on how putting on a Westwood corset is a Superman-like transformation that makes her feel like "the bloody Queen".

She also admits to spending a fortune on the perfect Westwood wedding when she married Mark Wnek, most recently one of the founders of the ill-starred start-up Ben Mark Orlando. "Vivienne made the dress specially for me," she gushes. Of course, the bridesmaids were all decked out in Vivienne-gear too. Six years and a divorce later, the dress was really all Savage was keen to hold on to.
