Not only does it do great work in advancing the cause of women in advertising, but it's also pretty nifty at raising money for good causes - 50 per cent of which goes to Nabs. This year, Wacl raised an impressive £86,000 for Nabs, helping it to continue its work in offering the industry help and advice with everything from careers and HR guidance to financial aid. Zoe Osmond, the chief executive of Nabs, praised Wacl for its efforts, crediting "a formidable group of women and leaders from advertising and marketing". However, Diary couldn't help wondering what the boys in the industry are doing. Come on you men - pull your socks up and stick your hands in your pockets.
Wacl has once again proved its industry mettle.
