Francesca Newland is none too keen on Abbott Mead Vickers BBDO's current TV commercial for Oxo: "This idea may have seemed good at the concept stage, but the execution is just excruciating. So hurried were the ad's makers to get rid of the 'real' family that Oxo advertising is so famous for, they have ended up with this piece of exaggerated nonsense. The hard rock music really jars, but the dreadful dancing granny is the worst bit of a shameful affair."
