Diary: Turkey of the Week - DDB London/Hovis

Claire Billings fails to see the funny side of DDB London's spot for Hovis:

"The ad is based on the premise that a drake, tasked with getting bread for his and his partner's fish supper, will have difficulty getting Hovis Best of Both because no-one will throw it away. While I can appreciate that this is aimed at a family audience, I find the link between ducks and bread a bit tenuous and the dialogue between the two ducks tedious. And since when did ducks eat fish, let alone tomatoes, ham and lettuce?"
