Diary: Turkey of the week - glue/Three

Maisie McCabe is entirely unimpressed by glue's new ad for the mobile network operator Three:

"By parodying what it sees as the generic 80s 'triumph' film, glue is trying to show how hard Three is working on its network. It's true that Three has a tough task going up against the likes of O2 and Orange/T-Mobile, in terms of its advertising and its products, and it definitely needs to improve the perception of its network coverage. But to do all that, it needs to deliver more than just the lame stereotypes in this ad."
