Diary: Turkey of the Week - In house/Daily Express TV ad

Ian Darby is uncomfortable with the political undertones of the Daily Express' latest TV ad, which was produced in-house:

"The paper appears to have replaced its 'Express delivery' activity with an ad that wouldn't look out of place with a BNP logo on it. Supporting the paper's 'crusading for Britain' positioning, it shows people supporting British values such as common sense and manners. Backed by gut-wrenching music, this comes across more like a political manifesto than an ad for a dynamic, interesting paper."
