Lucy Aitken wants nothing more to do with Partners BDDH's first work for Bmi: "Partners should be applauded for distancing Bmi from traditional, stuffy airline advertising and the budget airline look. But the animated birds are a weird creative realisation of a sensible strategy. The birds are reminiscent of a 70s Eastern European cartoon, so hardly scream out to the target audience of 'savvy travellers'."
