Camilla Palmer is dumbstruck by the recent press ads for Nationwide, created by Ping Communications: 'It's hilarious - there's a pissed-off businessman in a suit waiting in the queue for the cash machine behind a couple of guys who look like they're auditioning for the school play. They've really gone to town raiding the dressing-up box and wheeling on the cardboard Pyramids, and all for the sake of tying in with the 'If you're still charged for using cash machines abroad, you're banking in the wrong century' strapline. So bad, it's almost good.'
