Will it taste like Marmite ...?

Hardly going to be this Christmas' must have (a la Tellytubby/In The Night Garden toys etc), but another great example of the strong thinking coming out of the Marmite marketing think tank.

I've tried some - it's not a very strong flavour - mild aftertaste.

So a present for someone you love and yet also for those you hate. Cashback!

I've had a sample - it's not a very strong flavour - just a mild aftertaste of Marmite. Like the cereal bar, it's just trying to get the concept in your head as you eat it that's strange.

Sue, please don't get me any for Xmas. Whilst I'm a lover of their work, I'm a hater of the taste ...
- Andy Knell
If the taste balance is right, I'm sure it can work. Love the packaging, nice brand extension whilst having a more high-end aesthetic than the bar or jar. This supports the positioning as a niche gift/treat from high-end retailers during the festive season.

Already in the post, Iain. Give it to your mater-in-law.
- Iain Morrison
Better yet, I can keep it till next year or the year after and recycle it.
It's bound to have an eight-year shelf life ...
