Diary: Wight takes wrong turn

Robin Wight's life - once rumoured to be organised by a plethora of personal assistants - doesn't always run according to plan.

The Engine president turned up at the IPA's Belgrave Square home, expecting to attend the farewell reception for Hamish Pringle, the outgoing director-general. However, Wight not only got the date wrong - it isn't until 29 June - but also the location. The bash will be taking place at London's Lindley Hall. So where did Wight find himself? At an IPA-co-hosted event for PAs. No doubt his face matched one of his bright pink suits.
