The APG has had to issue a warning to all of its previous award-winners about unexpected hazards that can be encountered when showing off the prestigious award.
The trophies the APG hands out are made of heavy, clear Perspex. As is only natural, some winners want to display theirs on the window shelf in their office so people inside, or outside, the building can see it in all its glory.
However, it has become apparent that in the right position, the coveted award can act like a magnifying glass and concentrate the power of the sun, potentially creating a serious fire hazard.
This is said to have already happened to one unfortunate winner - the focused sun rays caused papers on his desk to smoulder, nearly setting the entire desk on fire.
