DIARY: Zut alors!

Yves Saint Laurent has produced a rather shocking new ad campaign for some smelly stuff for men. The ad, showing a full frontal of a naked chap, has appeared in French Elle and Le Figaro.

Typically of the French, there hasn't been any fuss or outcry about this image, going to show that the French have a far more laissez-faire attitude to the sight of naked men than us stuffy old Brits. Our version is far safer, having been cropped to just below the chest, cutting out the sight of the, ahem, offending item.

Anyone wondering if we can cope with the sight of naked ladies should rush to the top shelf of their newsagent. Or buy the Daily Star.
