Digital Face launches Twitter aggregator tool

LONDON - Edinburgh-based digital marketing agency Digital Face has developed a web-based Twitter aggregator called Tweetabits that allows businesses to refine their Twitter searches by location.

Tweetabits searches the mass of tweets for words that businesses specify and delivers columns of location-specific users and tweets that can be tagged, flagged and analysed for sales leads.

It allows businesses to track the hottest trends and most active people in a specific location.

Businesses can enter as many search terms as they require to refine their search, unlike other Twitter search applications which are limited to 140 characters.

Words can also be excluded from a search, eliminating common but irrelevant references from search results.

Tweetabits is similar to an existing Twitter application called Monitter, which also allows users to narrow searches to a certain location.
