AN Digital reshuffles senior management post merger

LONDON - Alan Revell has been named chief operating officer of Associated Northcliffe Digital, as one of a raft of senior management changes following last month's merger of Associated New Media, Associated New Ventures and Northcliffe Electronic Publishing.

The most high-profile position will mean Revell, who joined ANV in March from his role as the Sydney Morning Herald's publisher, will become chief operating officer for AN Digital from his previous position as chief operating officer at ANV.

Richard Shamsi, former finance director of ANV and ANM, will become finance director of AN Digital.

Mark Milner, the former chief operating officer of ANM will become managing director of AN Digital Integrated Media, where he will be responsible for coordinating the group's cross media, digital advertising and e-commerce displays.

Keith Perch, the former managing director of NEP, will become managing director of AN Digital Publishing.

Graham Potts, the current chief technology officer at ANV, will become chief technical officer of AN Digital.

Finally, Karen Kemble-Diaz, currently chief technical officer at ANM, will have her role extended to oversee the technical functions of AN Digital, under Potts.

Andy Hart, managing director of AN Digital, said: "The merger of ANV and NEP has given us the chance to review the current organisational structure.

"We've decided to make some changes to ensure we continue to grow our competitive advantage and capitalise on the opportunities presented by being a larger business."

Associated Northcliffe Digital is the digital arm of Associated Newspapers, publisher of the Daily Mail, Evening Standard and Metro.
