DirecTV hires Rapp Collins in US

NEW YORK - US satellite TV brand DirecTV has awarded its $20m US account to direct agency Rapp Collins in a pitch against Publicis Dialog.

The hiring means Rapp Collins will work on TV, print and direct campaigns, although it is unclear what lead roster agency Deutch/LA will be handling.

DirecTV is the biggest satellite TV provider in the US, and spends $105m on media and advertising last year.
