DMB&B has hired the creatives, Simon Impey and Jon Daniel, from CDP
to work across all its accounts.
The team, both 32, have been at CDP for just 16 months, having joined in
1997 from Ammirati Puris Lintas.
At CDP, they worked on Canon, Honda, and MGM as well as creating the
unusual ’living art’ campaign for the Institute of Contemporary Arts in
1997.
Impey and Daniel set up their own graphic design company, Headland, in
the late 80s. After the company fell victim to the recession, the duo
joined APL.
Nick Hastings, the creative director of DMB&B, said: ’I’ve been
expanding the creative department for a while and when I saw Simon and
John’s book, I wanted to hire them immediately.’
Impey said: ’We’re excited to have the opportunity to work with Nick.
His enthusiasm and energy has had an influence on the work DMB&B has
been producing.’
