Taking place on London's Southbank tomorrow morning (30 November), the giveaway will see visitors treated to a range of different smoothie flavours. The smoothies will be poured through a luge hidden within a giant ice sculpture.

Flavours include triple berry, pineapple or raspberry and will be distributed through the giant fruit-shaped ice sculptures.

The brand aims to help customers live healthier lives by giving away 3,000 free smoothies to busy commuters, with each smoothie made from Dole's frozen fruit packs. Each smoothie works as one of your five-a-day.

The event will kick off at 8am in Southbank's observation site near the Oxo Tower, and will provide guests with a healthy start to their working day or an energizing mid-afternoon pick-me-up.

Earlier this year, smoothie and drinks brand Innocent staged a travelling supermarket activation. In May, The Economist launched a 'From Bin to Blender' event, which encouraged guests to try free and nutritious smoothies made from ingredients destined for the rubbish bin.
