doLondon.com launches as shopping portal for the capital

- A new online shopping portal dedicated to London, doLondon.com, launches this week offering the chance for consumers to visit the capital's favourite stores online.

DoLondon.com represents 1,500 of London's bricks and mortar stores including Hamley's, Tower Records, Clarks Shoes, Orange and Carphone Warehouse.

The site has been developed by former Andersen consultants, Bec Clarke and Neil Phillips.

The cost of joining doLondon.com as a retail partner is calculated according to the number of click-throughs retailers receive on the site. Retailers with strong brands therefore shoulder the greatest part of the cost.
