Illusion, the Bangkok design studio, outdid itself with a disturbingly vivid depiction of germs as holiday-goers for the new Domestos campaign.
The press and outdoor ads, by DLKW Lowe, show germs posing by the pool, taking a selfie and frolicking on a lilo as trails of dark-blue liquid lurk in the background. In the corner of each execution is the slogan: "Holiday’s over." If there is one criticism, it’s that the Domestos in the water is barely noticeable, so it’s not obvious that the germs are about to meet their end. The work was created by Katrina Encanto and Edgar Galang. The illustrators were Surachai Puthikulangkura and Supachai U-Rairat.
