Dove's "Real beauty" campaign has returned with 30 portraits shot by renowned fashion photographer Mario Testino.
The new photographs capture 32 real women and girls between the ages of 11 and 71, from more than 15 countries. After being unveiled at a Dove showcase event in New York City on 2 March, the portraits will run online and on social media, with three being used in print and outdoor advertising later this year.
London-based agency MARIOTESTINO+ created the global campaign, which comes as Dove updates its Real Beauty Pledge outlining the brand’s ideals. The pledge says: "We always feature real women, never models"; "We portray women as they are in real life"; and "We help girls build body confidence and self-esteem".
