EasyGroup begins media agency hunt ahead of expansion

LONDON - EasyGroup is looking for a media agency to handle planning and buying for a range of its businesses.

The account, estimated to be worth £2m, includes easyCruise, easyInternetcafe, easyHotel and easyCinema. EasyJet, easyCar, easyMoney and easyMobile are excluded.

OMD UK handles planning and buying for easyJet while PHD works on easyCar.

EasyGroup is embarking on a massive expansion drive. Last month, it opened its first easyHotel in London offering rooms from £20 a night.

Last year, the group's owner, Stelios Haji-Ioannou, unveiled easyCruise. The cut-price cruise operator was the subject of a fly-on-the-wall documentary series on Sky One, which followed the format of 'Airline', the ITV1 show about easyJet.

EasyGroup recently created a range of male grooming products under the easy4men brand. EasyPizza, easyWatch, easyValue and easyJob are also included in the review.
