EBay is democratising the football transfer window in a campaign that gives Sunday league clubs the chance to sign legends Roberto Carlos and Eni Aluko.
Created by McCann London, the work sees one-game contracts for the players openly listed on eBay. Participants can enter the bidding via a £5 raffle ticket, with all proceeds being donated to Football Beyond Borders.
The stunt is being promoted with teaser films, paid-for and organic social media content, TV spots and onsite takeovers. The creative team at McCann London were Connor Wynn and Jack Stoten.
