LONDON - The online auction company eBay has called a review of its £10m advertising account, with incumbent Delaney Lund Knox Warren & Partners declining to repitch for the business.

A range of London agencies, both network and independent, have been approached by eBay as it looks to change its creative strategy.

The move comes just six months after the appointment of Carolyn Mamagh as the marketing director. She replaced Simon Darling, who left the company last September to run his own digital consultancy.

During its three-year reign on the eBay brief, DLKW developed the "Buy it. Sell it. Love it." endline that was used across two campaigns.

DLKW was hired in March 2004 as eBay's first above-the-line UK creative agency.

PHD, appointed as eBay's media planning and buying agency, is unaffected by the review.

EBay did not return calls at time of press.
