EDITORIAL: The ad industry will miss Hugh Burkitt

Adland will be a poorer place without the urbane Hugh Burkitt at the heart of it. Not everybody finds his forthright views palatable, particularly his implacable opposition to the IPA's proposals for a single communications "supergroup", but no-one doubts they're sincerely held. If he's done well by the business, his tireless work for its institutions ensured it has done well by him.
