Editorial: Advertising gets God's seal of approval

God moves in mysterious ways, but he's also a pragmatist.

Or so it would appear now that his representative on Earth, Pope Benedict XVI, has given his blessing to Vatican Radio taking advertising to defray its £18.8 million annual running costs. Apparently, all the ads will be vetted to ensure they are in keeping with the Catholic Church's doctrine. Let's all pray the moral outcasts include any spot flogging DFS sofas.
