Editorial: Bogle has earned his moment in spotlight

It is not often a suit gets honoured at the British Television Advertising Awards, but nobody would deny Nigel Bogle his moment in the spotlight.

For a long time, he was the least-known partner at the agency that bore his name. While John Hegarty was hailed as a creative genius and John Bartle as a prominent industry ambassador, Bogle stayed in the background.

Nevertheless, his contribution to Bartle Bogle Hegarty's success should never be underestimated. His mind is not only razor-sharp but has inspired some of BBH's most outstanding work. The BTAA chairman's award has certainly ended up in the right hands this year.
