Editorial: Govt should encourage WPP to stay in UK

The decision of Sir Martin Sorrell's WPP to switch its headquarters to Ireland to avoid punitive taxes on foreign profits is another example of Government schizophrenia when it comes to the ad business. If it's really serious about encouraging the creative industries, it could start by encouraging the UK's flagship marcoms company to stay put.
