Editorial: Mars strikes a blow against obesity hype

Mars' announcement that it is to drop all marketing activity targeted at under-12s sees it join the likes of Kraft and Coca-Cola in presenting itself as a responsible marketer. Let's hope such activity succeeds in cutting through the current hysteria over obesity and is noted by the European regulators as they weigh up the possibility of a total ad ban.
