EDITORIAL: No surprise McKay traded in his old role

Who'd be a creative director? If he hasn't got a client meeting in

Milton Keynes, he's sorting out the departmental prima donnas. And when

he does get to do an ad, it's on the crap brief that nobody else wants.

So no blame on Andy McKay for chucking in the joint creative

directorship at Euro RSCG Wnek Gosper to become an art director at

Abbott Mead Vickers BBDO and gain "the freedom to do my own work". Hands

up all those creative chiefs who wouldn't mind joining him.
