Editorial: Pride in its past will help adland in future

Whether you agree or disagree with Campaign's choice of the ten ads that changed advertising (page 20), one fact is beyond argument.

Collectively, they are a compelling illustration of advertising's power to entertain, inform and persuade in memorably creative ways.

Let's hope they also provide a morale-booster to a business under siege. If advertising is going to feel confident about its future, it needs to have pride in its past.
