Editorial: Sir Martin Sorrell is worth every penny

Marketing services is one of the few areas of business in which Britain enjoys global leadership. That's due almost entirely to the efforts of Sir Martin Sorrell, who has transformed WPP from a shell company into a formidable world player and continues to run it with relentless enthusiasm and energy. Shareholders would do well to remember this as they try to cap the remuneration package their group chief executive has unquestionably earned.
