Editorial: Sticky end in sight for British bill posters

So farewell then to that army of broom-carriers and their paste-buckets and ladders who have been a familiar sight on our high streets for as long as anybody can remember.

The technology being introduced by JCDecaux on its 10,000 UK sites looks like it could consign bill stickers to history.

Needs must, of course. But it will be sad to see them go. If only because that long-running campaign to save Bill Stickers from prosecution will never be quite the same again!
