EHS Brann axes executive creative chiefs

LONDON - EHS Brann is axing the executive creative director function at the agency, in a move that will make Lu Dixon and Trevor Chambers redundant.

EHS Brann has entered into consultation with Dixon and Chambers. The pair will not be replaced and the creative directors Kate Pybus, Patrick Baglee, Graham Dexter and Nigel Clifton will take over responsibility for the day-to-day running of the creative department.

The agency is also consulting with staff in its studio and account management departments. Fewer than 10 job losses are expected.

Chambers' redundancy will bring to an end his 15 years with the agency. He was one of the first members of staff at Realtime, which was merged with EHS in 2001.

Dixon has been at EHS for around 10 years and was promoted to creative director by the former executive creative director Patrick Collister. Dixon and Chambers were made joint executive creative directors in 2003, following Collister's departure.
