Fagan is relishing the new, international dimension to her role. Certainly her energy, after seven years in the top post, shows no sign of waning. In May, she oversaw one of the biggest Boots UK launches since she started her tenure, for the much-anticipated No7 Protect & Perfect Advanced Serums. Fagan, a Fellow of The Marketing Society, has continued to champion passionately the use of real women in advertising and the creation of brands that resonate with them. Undoubtedly, one of the reasons she succeeds in this quest is her insistence that she remains resolutely customer-facing: visiting stores, speaking to customers and at events such as Mumstock, Mumsnet’s flagship event.
